Meeting new Vets

    I got back into the Ham Radio hobby last April (2020). I participate in a program called Parks on the Air where I operate in the field at state and national parks. In my ham radio travels I have meet quite a few vets who were radio operators, morse operators, and linguists during their time in the military. This naturally lead them to ham radio as a hobby. Meeting fellow vets is always a cool thing.

    Oh both my dad and his uncle were big into it. Both were also vets and both knew Morris code... but I never got into it. Now that I’m about to retire, it might be a good hobby, however I don’t have a clue how to get started.
