"....straight from the pits of hell...."

That's what most enemies of grace would say about the doctrine of grace, sometimes confused with and referred to as Calvinism, and even Calvinists deride as extreme Calvinism, because in our aggrupation, Primitive Baptists, Hardshellers, Old School we hold that everyone in the book of life whom God from the foundation of the world PURPOSED to save and redeem unto Himself, ARE redeemed and saved apart from any input from man.
But when one considers that in the Old Testament (1) God spoke about a particular Prophet, which He said He was going to send, like unto Moses, flesh and blood, a Jew, to whom (2) He will put His words (Deuteronomy 18:15,18), and how (3) Israel, the nation, was waiting for such a prophet (John 1:21), (3) Jesus Himself said that His doctrine is not His, but Him that sent Him (John7:16),and how the doctrine of Sovereign Election was clearly evident in His statement to the seventy He sent out when He said, "rather rejoice, because your names are written in heaven (Luke 10:20), well, you can't help but rejoice, because your name IS written in heaven, and the Spirit Himself testifies to your spirit that you are a child of God, despite who you know you once were.

Let the fireworks begin..

 

The names were written from the foundation of the world. Nobody overcomes apart from Christ. And not one verse refers to anyone being, in fact, blotted out.

 

Because the overcomer is an overcomer in Christ. He was crucified with Christ, as in Galatians 2: 20, and he was in Christ from the foundation of the world, and the Spirit is basically assuring him that to destroy him, Christ must needs be destroyed. Read Romans 8:38.

you do understand that Psalm 69 is a Messianic prophecy, right ? and that those "let them's and let theirs'..." are for one person...Judas Iscariot, the betrayer as in Acts 1:20 kjv
