In the "classic view" we are purchased (redeemed) trough the blood of Christ. He is Himself the Propitiation for our sins (the One whom God set forth as a propitiation by His blood, to be received by faith).

Has anyone yet realized the absurdly of asking where anybody's wrath went?

Nope! We are too distracted at the absurdity of thinking Christs death on the cross was anything other than the wrath of God.

I mean this as genuine as I can. Based on your rebellion to scripture im not sure you have eyes to read it with any understanding at all

I do not know why you choose dishonesty over honest discussion.

You are unable to provide even one passage of Scripture, even one word, that I reject. Yet you choose to slander a brother (actually, most Christians) for daring to disagree with your philosophy and interpretations.

What you mean by accusing the majority of Christians as "rebelling against Scripture" is they disagree with you. By so doing you elevate yourself to the position of God. You think, at some level, God is beneath you (that your thoughts are higher than His, better than what He passed to us via His Word).

I know that you are unable to see past your philosophy and theory. That is fine. Were I not convinced of the inerrancy and sufficiency of Scripture then I would probably still affirm your view.

Have you ever considered that perhaps, just perhaps, God's Word IS sufficient for doctrine? If so, why did you dismiss the thought?

    Emotional? Not at all.

I understand exactly where you are in terms of doctrine. I was there for most of my life. I am not angry at you for stating your belief, one I shared for so long.

Don't be so sensitive, Mitch. Nobody is mad at you.

I would not be able to convince myself, when I was you, that most of Christianity was right about the "classic view" so I am certainly not trying to convince you. Before you can read Scripture for what is written (and it make sense) you will have to let go of your philosophy. I only hope one day you will be able to, especially since you have already shown you are unable to defend it.

What I observed is that you are very dishonest in your argument. To you anybody who disagrees with your philosophy and interpretations are rebelling against Scripture. That is what sets us apart.

Many (I believe most) who affirm the Penal Substitution Theory of Atonement are honest men. They understand that Christians who disagree with their interpretation are not rebelling against Scripture but instead are trying to be faithful.

You are simply not one of those men.

I am just saying that you should be honest in your arguments. You elevate your understanding to the level of Scripture and condemn anybody who rejects your words as if they were rejecting God's Word. You set yourself above God. That is wrong.

That question is nonsense. Wrath does not go anywhere.

Wrath does not "go" anywhere. God's wrath is against the wicked. But wrath is not a physical thing.

If a friend angers you and later apologizes, where does your wrath go?

If you think you were overcharged and become angry, but then discover you made a mistake, where does that wrath go?

God is not a child, and it is about time we stop talking about Him as if He were.

I was put in mind of Proverbs 26:18-19, but we are all sinners and know, or should, that we are likely to cause offense on occasion and should therefore forgive that we may be forgiven (Matthew 5:14-15). God is nothing like that.
    God does not make mistakes.
God is not like us (Psalms 50:21; Isaiah 55:8-9). To those who have sheltered in the shed blood of Christ, 1 John 1:7-9 applies. To those who have not, John 3:18-19 & Psalms 5:4-6 apply.

So if we murder someone we should just go before the judge and say I am sorry and I will not do it anymore? And if he doesn't accept that as a reason not to impose justice then he is being a child? Is that your logic?

We have a sin debt owed to God the father in breaking His Holy Law, and God cannot for forget nor forgive us apart from the PSA of the Lord Jesus on our behalf!

IF we repent and accept Jesus as Lord we are saved, even if no Psa, seems to be his view here!
