    What do you do?

    Do you split verses 3-6?
    Do you split verse 17?
Do you adopt verse 2 as the first?
Or do you do something else that we haven't thought of yet?

I'm curious to see what you guys think. You don't have to be so shy about this. There's no wrong answers here. How do you get to ten commandments?

    Do you split verses 3-6?
    Do you split verse 17?
Do you adopt verse 2 as the first?
Or do you do something else that we haven't thought of yet?

    Look at context:

    1. No God but Me
    2. No idols nor bowing to them nor serving them
    3. No taking God’s name in vain
    4. Remember sabbath to keep it holy
    5. Honour father and mother
    6. No murder
    7. No adultery
    8. No stealing
    9. No lying
    10. No coveting what belongs to others

Your thinking is from a human perspective, -Genesis 3:1 -a stumbling block, not from GOD's perspective-Matthew 16:23. Get a look.

The the Gentiles, have not the law, they are WITHOUT Law, and now neither the Jews may be under the Law as slaves of the Law. GOD made a new Covenant with the Jews,
and GOD extended His kindness to the Gentiles, without the Law.

    Revelation 16:13-15

13 - I saw three unclean spirits like frogs(a SATANIC trinitry, why frogs?) come out of the MOUTH of the dragon(RED DRAGON-REVELATION 12:3-4&9) and out of the MOUTH of the Beast,(the Beast of sea-Revelation 13:1-10) and out of the MOUTH of the false prophet. (false preachers of the Word of GOD, ministers of the Devil-2Corinthians 11:13-15, the TAIL of the red Dragon-Isaiah 9:15-16 and 56:10-11.Take a look )

14 For they are the spirits of devils, working miracles, which go forth unto the kings of the earth and of the whole world, to gather them to the battle of that great Day of GOD Almighty-JESUS-Rev.1:8- combined with Matthew 28:18 among other biblical references).

    JESUS WARNED:

15 Behold, I come as a thief. Blessed is he that watcheth, and keepeth his garments, lest he walk naked, and they see his shame. (By the way, your apron made by the leaves of fig tree after faall in the power of Devil, it is good for nothing).

Be careful or else get ready

So you align with the verse 3 school of thought.

I think you'll like Scarlett's post from the previous thread. She wrote the clearest, most succinct argument for the verse 3 school of thought that I have seen so far:

Separate Verse 3 and Verse 4-6

    Do you like this argument?

As Kyredneck pointed out, the simplicity of it is what I appreciate most.

Actually, I align with the Scripture in its logical context. If someone agrees, that’s fine, too.

    Scarlett said it well.

You're off topic. I'm trying very hard to keep this thread on topic this time. I need your help.

This is the topic of discussion. And as Scarlett pointed out in the previous thread, we've pretty much already established that there are ten commandments. We can still discuss the number if you want to but I'm more focused on the second part of that question at this point.

How do you split the verses so as to get to ten?

    What are the ten commandments?

    Can you list them?

That's the topic. If you're not interested in discussing it, then I'm asking you to leave the thread. Please.

Your thinking is from a HUMAN perspective, A STUMBLING BLOCK - Genesis 3:1-, not from GOD's perspective-Matthew 16:23

This isn't about what I think. It's about what you think.

What do you do to get Ten Commandments?

    Do you split verses 3-6?
    Do you split verse 17?
Do you adopt verse 2 as one of the ten?
Or do you do something else that we haven't thought of yet?

This isn't your average debate thread. It's a thinking thread with a narrow focus. I want to know how you number the commandments and why you number them that way.

Now the serpent (the fig tree) was/is the more subtil than any beast of the field which the Lord GOD has made, and said unto the woman, Yea, has GOD said,
3 Thou shalt have no other gods before me.
4 Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth.
    5 Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the Lord thy GOD am a jealous GOD, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me;
7 Thou shalt not take the name of the Lord thy GOD in vain; for the Lord will not hold him guiltless that taketh his name in vain.
8 Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy.
12 Honour thy father and thy mother: that thy days may be long upon the land which the Lord thy God giveth thee.
    13 Thou shalt not kill.
14 Thou shalt not commit adultery.
    15 Thou shalt not steal.
16 Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbour.

This isn't about what I think, says the serpent. It's about what you think.
What do you do to get Ten Commandments?
    Do you split verses 3-6?
    Do you split verse 17?
Do you adopt verse 2 as one of the ten?
Or do you do something else that we haven't thought of yet?

Look, Satan, what matters and prevails is what JESUS said, the Law prophesied until John the Baptist. Go down to the abyss, Satan, to the bottomless pit. This is an order, go down to the abyss, Satan, this is a command from GOD.
