In Gen 17 God commanded Abram to be "cir---cise" to initiate the Abrahamic Covenant for all males.

But did God require a covenant with the fairer gender?
    If not why not?

Not that I recall ever reading in the Bible.

1 Corinthians 11:3 But I would have you know, that the head of every man is Christ; and the head of the woman is the man; and the head of Christ is God.

Interesting question. I suppose the covenant of circumcision for males would include women as wives and daughters under the authority of the males.

    peace to you

I have no head. My father is deceased and I moved out of his house anyway at 19. And I never married. Ergo, at age 62, Christ is my only head.

Genesis 17:9-11, in my opinion, contains an inclusive "you" which means the whole nation.

It's not that women were left out or ignored or that every woman had a head - they didn't and they don't today. It's that Abraham's obedience in carrying out God's commands covered the whole nation.
