that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.
Was that a problem, was that the adversary of God, before God commanded the Light to shine out of darkness, saying, "let there be Light"?
And the great dragon was cast out

Should have made this a poll with a yes or no for an answer.

It happened at the cross. John 12:31.

Not sure what you are saying, that says.
Is Satan working in the world today? Was he working in the world before the cross? Was he at work in the world when; the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep.? -

Satan is the 'strong man,' and until the coming of Christ, the nations were under his power. But now Christ, the 'stronger than he' has come and Satan cannot prevent the Gospel from going out to the nations. Moreover, since Christ has paid in full for the sins of the elect, Satan can no longer accuse them of sin (Zechariah 3; Revelation 12:9-11) but is cast out.
Is Satan working in the world today? Most assuredly yes (Revelation 2:12). But His scope and ability are limited, and he cannot deceive the nations any more so as to prevent them from coming to Christ. -
That could very well be. -
And I saw an angel come down from heaven, having the key of the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand. And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand years, And cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal upon him, that he should deceive the nations no more, till the thousand years should be fulfilled: and after that he must be loosed a little season.
So that is presently transpiring or has transpired?
