Great end. Nothing like a playoff in a major. Living here in Argentina I thought is was great that Angel won. I like Kenny Perry though. He seems to be a good family man and I think he is a believer but I may be wrong. Overall I thought it was a good tournament. What say ye golf fans?

Enjoyed being able to watch it since we don't have church on Easter Sunday night...

From the TV coverage, you'd think tiger and phil were playing from the lead. I was pulling for Perry, but nice to see Cabrera win because he had such an up and down day.

Kenny Perry went to high school here in Paducah, honed his skills at Paxton Park Golf Course, returns every year to host a benefit for the course (along with Paducahan Russ Cochran, a 20-plus year PGA Tour pro).

So naturally, we Western Kentuckians have an unbreakable link to Kenny. I watched every shot until I went to evening service, but left my VCR rolling.

You talk about an emotional roller coaster. We all got giddy when Kenny stuck that teen shot on the par-three 15th. We all sank when he bogeyed the last two holes, and the playoff ensued.

Perry is a great guy. He gives a bunch of money for scholarships to a Christian university in Nashville. I've never heard him discuss his faith, but his lifestyle does suggest there is a spiritual component to it.

I know what you mean in regards to the TV coverage. I watched it on ESPN in Spanish in Argentina no less, and the focus was defiantly on Tiger and Phil. If they were in the lead I could understand it but that was just ridiculous. :BangHead:

So glad that Tiger and his potty-mouth and his "since I am god, if I don't hit every shot perfectly then it is the end of the world attitude" didn't win.

Was rooting hard for Perry for all the old guys who aren't ripped. :)

Phil could've won this if he didn't choke down the stretch. Finished at 9 under, and he put one in the drink costing him 2 strokes and he missed 2 six-footers after that. He could've at least found himself in the playoff.
