Buying our first home...!

    Hey guys,

    Please pray for my family (my wife and my 2 y/o daughter!) as we are going through the process of purchasing our first home!

    It's an exciting time but man is it stressful.

    Tomorrow (Monday) is our inspection and appraisal from the bank, so I'm going to be a nervous wreck all morning at work.

    Buying a house is crazy but also fun.

    We'll see what happens!

    I bought my first house about 7 years ago. I wish I had gotten the inspection and appraisal, and forgotten about the seller financing.

    I wouldn't do seller financing, and certainly you need to take the appraisal and inspection.

    I'm in the banking industry, so I have the hook-up as far as the mortgage aspects. Really easy process there.

    And yes - everybody got onto me about getting that inspection done. Rest assured, it's tomorrow!
