Calvin's view of time is totally linear. Therefore he thinks of God's planning on past tense.
Einstein was a determinist like Calvin, but in different fields ( scientific determinism vs theological determinism), but his theories blow away the idea of absolute time. But Heisenberg blows them both away.
Calvin's theology was the product of a very finite cosmology.
