Several years ago our local paper carried the Billy Grahmn Q&A. After his passing.
they now carry an "inspiration" thougth written by local clergy.
Here is the coulum for Today:
Love, Not Labels
At summer camp, we used to play a game called Weed or Flower. The leader would put up a picture of a plant and we would have to guess: weed or flower.
I didn't say it was a fun game.
It was also surprisingly difficult. Queen Annes Lace is an intricate flower, but technically a weed. The same can be said for the perennial forgot-me-not's. which met their untimely demise in my yard last year last year. My garden is wild: little organization and most plants can stay. So my definition of a weed is most likely fundamentally different from yours, and unfortunately, my neighbors.
I also bought daisies to plant from a home goods store last year, but daisies also occur naturally. Does growing naturally define a weed and only things we plant are not? Are plants we dont want is how we define a weed?
It makes me wonder how we label people. (end of devotion)
Boy, wasnt that refreshing - I dont know how I cold have made it today without that article - that was better then even Bettle Baily. Arent you glad you saw this wonderful and inspiring thought!

The most accurate way to determine if it is a flower or a weed... pull it up. If it is very difficult to pull it up, it’s probably a weed. If you come back the next day and it has grown back....definitely a weed.

Weed like to stay.

The flowers are beautiful for a time, but fade quickly if not tended carefully; just like expressions of faith are beautiful but can be fragile if not tended carefully.
peace to you -
