Good Morning!
I got so relaxed crocheting last night that I got really sleepy. I knew if I got on the computer to tell ya'll good night I would get woke up again. So I just went to bed!
48ºF here this morning. 63ºF high for today.
Off to check other forums. Be back in a few.

Did everyone sleep in this morning?
I am off to the 'corner' and will leave you with this thought:
Moments
Happy moments, Praise God.
Difficult moments, Seek God.
Quiet moments, Worship God.
Painful moments, Trust God.
Every moment, Thank God.

Hello everyone
I hope you are all ok. I had a really bad night, then we had a power cut til 9.15, then eventually I got myself off to the university library to search out some journals and do so photocopying. I have not long been home. I hope you all have a good day. I will be round and about.
Blessings
Sheila -
Morning Sheila: Sorry you had a bad night.
I have laundry to do and a kitchen that needs cleaning, so I won't be back until I take a break for lunch.
HAGD! -
Hi Sue,
OK, will talk to you later.
God Bless
Sheila -
Good morning, or almost mid day. Stopped in to see whats new then got some kitchen work to do, and later laundry.

Good morning to all...afternoon, Sheila.
I have been on and off, round and about this morning. Busy times when we have elections. I get rather busy writing speeches for some candidates amongst other ongoing chores.
Sheila was so kind to send me a repair kit for glasses and I was showing it off in the village. Even got to help adjust another blokes glasses. Sheila and her kit were the talk of the town to-day. She is now famous in Canada. Isn't that great?
Cheers for now,
Jim -
Jim,
I had a much needed eye test yesterday. I have to wait until the week end for my new specs. I took my Greek New Testament with me and told the optician "I want to be able to read this". :D I think she got the message. I am looking forward to studying Greek again without all the characters merging into a watery blur
Blessings
Sheila -
Sheila, I can appreciate that. You will be getting jots and tittles, which belong in Hebrew. En archai en o logos......did I get it right? It has been awhile for me....
Cheers,
Jim -
Jim, I dunno...it has been a while for me too. I have a lot of catching up to do. I could never see the "i". Imagine the confusion that can cause. No wonder I only got a grade C. :(
Blessings
Sheila -
Jim, I can't make Hebrew out at all. It is just one long blur to me.
Hey, I have noticed...I think I am catching you up. :D
Sheila -
Sorry, I went off to lunch with Mary in village.
My Hebrew is next to nothing these days...Greek is a little shady too. I used to read it on a regular basis, but stay with English now.
I have three pairs of glasses. I don't know why so many of the old theological books were in such small print. The new books are not so bad, except the footnotes are always so small.
Cheers,
Jim -
Jim,
I was having to get Rob to read the footnotes to me
Maybe three years is a little too long to go without an eye test
Blessings

I remember the one lad in the college where I taught whose eyes were so bad he used a large magnifying glass like the one commonly shown with Sherlock Holmes. The classmates went shopping and bought him a hat like Sherlock Holmes and presented it to him in class one day. It was quite a chuckle, and he wore it to boot.
Cheers,
Jim -
Yes, I have an eye examination every year and get new spectacles every two years,,,sometimes just new lenses. My reading glasses last longer,,maybe every four years or so.
Cheers,
Jim -
It is really quiet in here.
Back to the books, I will look in later.
Bye for now,
God Bless

I got to looking for the name of a song last night and stayed online until after 1:00 a.m. The phone rang at 8:30 and woke me!
Still have not found the name of the song but did find a not so great copy of it on a tape we have here. I can use it if I have to....
Been sending out resumes and doing job searches for Jim while Nick does his school work. It keeps us both pretty quiet. LOL
Diane -
Well, Diane! Why don't you tell us the name of the
song so we can help you look?!?
:-D
:-D -
LOL! Know what I did? Since I have the music and the words, I just used the first line of the song as the title so I could give our minister of music a 'song name' to list in the bulletin. I have 8 weeks to try and find the REAL name but I'm sure it'll be okay. My little ones are going to sing 'How on Earth Can God's Baby Sleep' and 'Rock-a My Soul'. You should SEE them! They get to rockin their little souls! LOL
Diane -
Good afternoon all -
Jury duty over for today - have to go back again tomorrow.
I am supposed to see the eye doctor on a yearly basis. Currently - when I get new specs - they work well for three of four months - then things start to get a little blurry again.
