I would love to see a real pretty snow like that. We don't get too many around here.

Good afternoon everyone. A busy day for me. About the time I thought I could relax, grandson sent me his school paper to correct so I have been busy with that. It was very good. He is trying to convince the school adm to have open campus for lunch. Of course, I agree with the closed campus. They have open campus here for I believe the upper classes. He really had a good argument and had three solutions for correcting it.
The wind is about to blow us away. I love snow, but it really paralyzes our state and Ed needs his vacation time for trips not stay at home because of snow. -
Evening all,
I tried to take a nap while the 'boys' were gone today, but alas...
I did get 1 1/2 pairs of slippers crocheted though. My list is growing. I think I'm up to 12 pairs now.
Shawna brought some turkey salad over this afternoon so we are having that and chips for supper.
We might get an inch of snow tonight. I know it's going to be cold and windy tomorrow because it's our town's Christmas parade. -
No more snow but it sure is cold. My snow shovel disappeared so we need to go get a new one. Stay warm.
-
No snow yet, but it is very cold here too!
That smiley looks like Brent when he went out caroling tonight.
Pleasant dreams all!

Morning all:
We are supposed to possibly get flurries Friday evening. Some are supposed to get ice. We're hoping we don't get it here.
We went to church last night, but we left before it started. Vivian's back was hurting so bad from work yesterday that she needed to leave. So we left and came home.
It's 32 here right now. Brrrrrrrrrrr!
Have a great day!

This is what I woke up to this morning and it's still snowing...

It is not supposed to get up above freezing for the next 10 days. Brrrrrrr! -
It's not fair!!!
I want snow! Then I want it to melt by tomorrow and go back to being warm. :D It's pretty but one days is all I want. It was 30 here this morning. It's just over that now and it's raining. Yuck!
Been busy, busy the last few days, I'll check in again when I can!

Oh, but it is beautiful for us to look at Sue.
It is cold here but the Sun is Shining. I believe we are at 30 degrees, but Muffin was sunning himself on the back deck. So it must not be too bad.
I have been painting all morning. Now I need to get busy with the daily chores.
Happy December 1. I've been playing Christmas music all morning. I received my 8 year old granddaughter"s Christmas present. It is a little stuffed dog that performs tricks. You probably have seen it advertised. This one looks just like Muffin. I think she wanted the black and white one, but they were out of stock. -
Sue, Wesley wants to come visit so he can play in the snow!
-
Gayla, tell him to bring his shovel.
-
Sue, it's only 41 here, 34 wind chill. It is still a bit windy. I'm hoping that NO SNOW shows up tonight. They are calling for it on Sunday evening, though.
-
I miss the snow from a child's perspective. The whole shoveling it and driving in it is not something I wouldn't want to do. As much as I loathe sand gnats, they would win over snow any day.
-
Hey ya'll!
Brrr! all this talk of snow is making me cold! Or it could be that it IS cold here. And we're warm compared to Sue and Thankful. It was 49 degrees just as it got dark here this evening.
I've done a bit of stuff here and a bit of stuff there and I don't feel like I've accomplished anything. I've been busy all day though. Tomorrow I'm going to set up my day so that a whole complete project gets finished. Even if it's just one thing!
Tonight is find your own supper night, so I'm off to find mine. See ya! -
It's very cold and windy here tonight. We didn't go to the Christmas parade. We stayed home and watched it on our local cable channel.
I finished my Christmas cards today and will be mailing them out tomorrow.
If I have your address, you'll get a card. :D -
Are you glad you woke up to snow Sue? Love that nativity. I hope so, I love snow! It snowed all day which means it was a little warmer too. DH keeps calling it water, he isn't real big on snow. :D
We had a drought last summer and I keep telling him we need it! I like shoveling it, playing in it and eating it. And.... you can make igloos and snowmen. I am not convincing him how wonderful it is. We did find the snow shovel. Here are a few more pics for whoever wants to see snow!

Elnor, ummmm, no! I was NOT glad to wake up to snow!
I've got kids and grandkids driving in from Kansas, Wisconsin, and Indiana next week. I'm sure praying the roads will be clear.
I've been so busy getting ready for Christmas that I don't even have anything to wear to the wedding yet!
I rented the Women's Club today and they have a piano! All of Pastor Bob's family play the piano beautifully (including Pastor Bob) so we will be able to sing Christmas Carols!
They will also have a large, decorated Christmas tree so that is one thing I won't have to lug over there.
I am putting the long tables in a horseshoe so we can all see each other and visit while we eat. The two serving tables will be in the center of the horsehoe.
The people will only be sitting on one side of the tables, so we will be using 5. The tables are 8 feet long, but only seat 5 on one side.
I am heading for bed. It's past my bedtime!
Pleasant dreams all,

Morning all:
A lot has been going on here over the past 24 hours. I tried to call my pastor yesterday and found out that his cell phone was out. He started with a different company yesterday. Guess that's good as he got an extra phone for his daughter in college about three hours away and is saving an extra amount of $$$. That's always good! I had a good talk with him last evening. The air was cleared on some subjects.
Mom called last night. Please pray for her. Her shoulder is in bad shape (rotator cup is torn). She's still working, but she doesn't have any insurance. She needs surgery on it.
Viv's working today and tomorrow. She's putting a LOT of extra miles on the Sonata since the Lumina is in the shop. We can't get the work started on it until we get the check from the broker.
Hope all is going well with y'all. I'm heading back to bed soon.
Be good, Be kind, Be careful.

Good Morning Everyone!
I had about decided I was going to have a lazy day at home and just do nothing, but it's not to be. I'm running to the Walmart in the next town over to pick up some things for Bitsy's Christmas. Isn't it funny that one Walmart store can have so many things different than another? At least I finally found the child something. She is the only one that wouldn't tell us what she wanted for Christmas! (well except for the horse she claims we can keep in the back yard. )
I'm fortifying myself for the trip with caffiene and jelly bellies(that I've been hiding from the kids). I'm really craving cinnamon rolls, but since I don't have any this will have to do. I think I'll put some dough in the bread machine this evening and make some rolls for breakfast in the morning. Been a long time since I've done that.
Ya'll have a good Friday! -
Good morning all:
It is a very cold 16F here this morning with an expected high of 29F. The sun is shining, but with the cold temps, I doubt much of the snow will melt.
I am planning on staying in today, but one never knows. I am trying to get everything done because the wedding is a week from today and the next day - Christmas!
We are a little late starting school this morning because we both slept in for a while(felt good too).
Brent has had his breakfast, I think I'll have a bowl of oatmeal.
HAGD!
