Way to go MK! LOL!
Maybe the secretaries are trained to say people are in meetings just in case, so people won't be disappointed if they can't get ahold of someone?
Today's been fun. I JUST today realized that we only have a week and a half of classes due and I have all kinds of finals all over the place all this week and next, so I'm like a madwoman on speed, chatting and groaning and whining and charging up my phone to call and talk the ears off the first person I dial who picks up after the kids go to bed! Which is only one person, because I don't know anyone else. LOL Oops! And she BETTER be home!
My rehearsed opening sentence when she answers the phone goes like this: "...and my toe hurts and my back hurts and I can't do this but I know I can and I think I have the mumps and WHAT IS THIS RASH ON MY NECK I better not go out this week excuse me I'm nauseous and where is the tylenol and HEY ARE YOU LISTENING?!!!" All said with a mouthful of chocolate! Which I don't have. I just noticed. The Dove bag is empty. AGH!
OH! It snowed today! It was so prettiful! Everyone in my writing class was whining over it, I wasn't even paying attention to what was going on because I was staring at the snow going through the pine trees. BEAUTIFUL!

Gina would you like some cheese? :D Check your PM's please.
I'm going to bed because I'm tired!
Pleasant dreams all!

I did. There was NO chocolate!
-
Oh no Gina! T doesn't have a secretary. I was actually interupting his meetings by calling his cell phone! (my excuse is that he called me first from the same cell phone. If he'd of used his office phone I'd of called back that number instead and left a voice mail. I'm not all bad!)
If you don't mind chocolate chips I'll share with you. Sometime in the last couple of weeks I sent T to the store for me. On the list was two bags of chocolate chips. I meant semi-sweet chips. What I got was milk chocolate chips. Since I don't like milk chocolate in my chocolate chips cookies and Walmart trashes returned food, these turned into my chocolate stash. I'm already into the second bag, so if you want to share you'd better hurry!
I'm off to bed myself. T is headed to Atlanta in the morning so I'll have to get up about 3:30 to get him off. I might even beat Sue up! I'm going back to bed after he leaves though. -

Morning all:
Sue & Gina, sorry about the mix-up. My brain is shot. We got the car towed from the highway yesterday, and it cost over $50.00 to tow it this time. It's usually $35, but our friend Johnny raised his rates. But, that's ok. Geico will refund all or part of it. I drove over 300 miles yesterday and am a mess. I'm not supposed to drive at all, but, this too shall pass. So, if I'm not here again, you'll know why. Driving increases my vertigo the days following my driving.
It rained here like you wouldn't believe. We were under tornado warnings for most of the afternoon, and then a watch for part of the afternoon and evening. We still have standing water in the back and side yards and driveway. But, we needed the rain.
It's 46 here and the wind gusts are between 25 and 35 mph. The high will only be around 52 (f).
Well, be good, be kind, be careful.

Morning Tony! Rest today okay? We had our share of the weather yesterday too, but didn't really get much rain out of it.
Morning Everyone!
Gina it seems that I may have beaten Sue up, but Tony beat ME up! We're all a mess this morning!
Off to pour coffee! -
MK, I'm up every morning for the most part, by 1:45AM. I get up with Viv who has to leave by 3am to get to work by 4am. She doesn't get home until 4:15pm or so and we don't usually get to bed until around 9pm. She's pretty worn out right now.
Gina, you're way out on the West coast now, aren't you?

Good morning all!
Well, I got beat up by Cindi AND Tony this morning! And here I thought I was just stiff and sore because I have a cold! Y'all quit ganging up on me!
It is a crisp 32F this morning and not supposed to get much warmer throughout the day. Brrrrrr.
We are staying in today. Brent will be doing school work and I am going to try and get some things done around the house.
Thanks for putting the coffee on guys. I think I'll have a cup!

I couldn't believe it yesterday. It hit 62!, in November! Works for me, it can stay like that until March then warm up. Reality will return this afternoon when the temp drops back to 32, and we have snow showers. Of course that might be why we all have colds too.
Can't drink coffee Sue, so I had some hot chocolate. I brought in some homemade apple cake for everybody. Enjoy!

MMMmmm apple cake! Thanks Rob!
Hehe, should I fess up that I went back to bed after I got T out the door?
I've been given orders to clean house today, by my SON! What to do, what to do? Clean the house the way I'd planned to before Son opened his smart mouth, or sit here on the BB today and make him clean it when he gets home from school? Majority rules, except I have to locate where all my bowls have disapeared to. We can break and lose more bowls in this house.
Hey Rob, if you moved a few states south you wouldn't have to worry about snow. It going to be in the upper 50's today and that is after the cold front that moved through yesterday. -
Thanks for the cake Rob. I had hot chocolate last night!
MK: Since you went back to bed - you 'beat me up' for nothing... -
AVL, yes, I'm out...west? I dunno if I'm west, I didn't bring a compass. LOL I'm in Oregon.
Today was nice. Busy, but nice. I can't quit eating. I should be doing homework right now but my daughter is practicing her flute. The same song. Repeatedly. She improved quite a bit! I do wonder if the excuse "I couldn't do my homework because my daughter was practicing the flute" has ever been used? -
Gina, it would work for me!
My tummy is acting up tonight and I don't feel well at all (never do when I'm in a lot of pain).
I am turning in people.
Pleasant dreams all!

Hi Everyone,
Dropped in to say hey! Everyone sounds busy. We have been. Hope your tummy is better soon, Sue. It snowed here most of the day.

Good morning all:
It is a crisp 31F this morning heading for a high of 37F. We may get an inch of snow tonight. Whoopee!
Brent is 'skipping' school today (he is already finished with his second-quarter work and the third-quarter doesn't start until January 13th).
Grandpa took the day off from work also (he has to take the remainder of his accumulated days off before the end of December or lose them).
They are both going to Springfield. Grandpa has an appointment with someone at the National Guard and Brent loves to go there. They always go through the museum. Of course, they always eat lunch at Sonic too. That may have something to do with his interest!
I finished crocheting my two afghans and matching pillows! Yippee!
Now I am crocheting bedroom slippers. I have 5 pair to do before the 10th and 8 more pair to do by the 25th. They don't really take that long if I can just find the time to sit and crochet...
HAGD!

Well good morning again. Just dropped in to say Sue is deleting my post for me. The picture is not offensive, it's snow! When I tried to add the link it would not show the picture because the filename had parenthesis and that's a no go. So I will change it and redo it.
You are deleting it, right Sue? :D

Morning all. I still have my rudolph nose today.

Thank you Sue.
Chipsgirl, Sorry to hear about your Rudolph nose.Hope you feel better soon.
