This election (and the previous) I have heard a lot of comments from Christians.
I am not concerned about those who vote or abstain (this is something each has to prayerfully consider and follow as God leads them).
But I have somewhat of a concern with some of the comments I have heard.
In both the previous and this election I have heard "I'm voting for a lesser evil", I'm holding my nose and voting for Trump", "I'm voting for Trump but not looking", etc.
Afterwards I've heard "I feel like need a shower", "I had no good choice", "I feel like I've waded in the sewer", etc.
The problem is each of these comments reflect a sence of doing something that is against the conscious of the believer.
They have a feeling that they did not do something that God would have approved of.
Here is my point - pray, pray some more, pray before you vote or the election is over.
God will answer.
Then vote for the candidate God is leading you to support or abstain from voting as God leads you to abstain.
Then be at peace knowing that your support or abstaining from supporting a candidate was in obedience.
There is absolutely no reason to feel bad about acting as God has led you to act.
There is a reason to feel bad about taking things into your own hands.
Bring everything before God in prayer.

I can say with 100% certainty, that to legally vote, a person must be conscious. :)
Now, voting your conscience is another matter
peace to you

That could change. Depends on who ends up winning the election. :Wink
