    The ERA had a time limit fir ratification. It was not ratified in time. That amendment is dead.

    The congress could always bring it up again and the whole process of ratification we oils start over. Any prior vote wouldn’t count for the new effort.

    I agree with you - but some think it should be "resurrected" and with the former favorable votes as active

    and as far as not ratified in time - the ERA was given 7 years to pass - and then it was extended by another 3 years.
