How about thse Basketball rules

    1. On a foul shot, the players closest to the basket should be from the team shooting the foul shot

    2. On a foul shot, the offending player should be required to stay behind the half court line until the ball hits the backboard.

    3. oh, thats all I can think of the minute.

    1) No. It takes away the incentive to make the free throw. If your teammates have the inside spot, you are likely to rebound.

    2) Why? I see no reason for this rule.

    I see no reason for those 2 rules either.

    In HS basketball now (at least when I coached in Kentucky and now where I live in Tenn), the players may not enter the lane on a free throw until the ball makes contact with the rim, as opposed to being free to enter the lane upon release from the shooter.

    What do y'all think about these rules?
