If you could meet just one person from the BB....

Id have to choose two, how can I pick just one.
Helen and Diane, Sue, because they are what good christian women should be, and they've been good friends to me.

 

Hey! I met Swaimj last week!

He mentioned he would be preaching on James in a cross-town church; I had the week off and had already cancelled my usual Wednesday evening Growth Group meeting, so I went and enjoyed meeting and fellowshiping with a fellow BaptistBoard member.

I was blessed by both the church and the person.

I have quite a few people I'd like to meet someday. Eventually I'm sure we may get around to meeting them, here or there.

to fight or learn from? I would pick the most liberal one to fist fight with and the most conservative one to learn from. (just kidding about the fist fight) i think it best i mention that.

 

I'd like to add, that there are other great christian women on the BB I'd love to meet also Gwyneth, Betty, and others, I didn't want to offend anyone, theres too many godly women to choose just one here.

 

Katie, I agree with you, it would be very difficult to choose just one person here, there are just too many I wouldn't know where to start.

I've met most of the ones I most wanted to meet already. There's a few left, but we'll get around to it.
I'd also like to meet some of the men who vocally refuse to talk to the women about anything unless they're instructing them, just to see what they'd talk about.

There are many I'd like to meet, but one definite one is Mark Osgatharp. If I'm ever in his neck of the woods and know where he's preaching, I'll make a point of staying till Sunday so I can attend his service.

Being in Seattle and he in Arkansas, it may take a while, but if God wills it, how can either of us stop it?

As has already been said, it is very hard to pick just one person. I've interacted with many of you and would enjoy meeting you in person. But since Adam has enjoined us to pick one - if I were restricted to meeting only one person from the Baptist Board, it would be the Webmaster, because it is his vision and genius that has brought us all together.

 

He recently left us but my vote would be to meet Chris Temple.

John V- He's just such an awesome friend, I just love him...platonically of course.

Sherrie- because she's real. And I feel I can be real with her without her changing her stripes on me.

Stubborn Kelly, because I just so admire her style and fearlessness. I enjoy talking with her. And I love her sense of humor, I don't mean like, I mean love it.

The Kritzer's, because they are genuine and kind and fair and all that is good. I just have so much respect for them both, I really do.

C.S. Murphy, because he is my favorite moderator. (I just can't bring myself to say "was")

Gib, because he reminds me of my Dad, not my biological Dad but my step dad...he's the soft sensitive type under a very manly exterior. And I just can't help but love that.

Blackbird because there isn't anyone here who can dish it out and take it like he can. He's my kind of people.

Betty and Ed, I really love these two. I can't tell you how much they've meant to me and how much they have made a difference when I really needed to be encouraged.

Sue, Diane, Kate, Dr. Bob, Barnabas, Mick McK, 3Angels Mom, Tuor, Baptist Believer, and many many others. There are just too many to pick just one.

And of course my beloved Adopted Daughter and her new Husband Adam. Just so I could give them both a squeeze.

I already know RomOne16 from church. Although I haven't seen her post here in a while.

 

I can't think of anyone here that I would not want to meet. It would be a pleasure to meet any of you people!

 

It would be impossible to choose! I feel like I already 'know' so many of you!

I've made up my mind, tho, that if I'm ever in your areas, to give you a call and stop by for a soda!

I'd like to meet Granny Pat {GrannyGumbo} I know she's not a member anymore, but she and I write back and forth and she is really a dear person to me.
There's just so many of you, and yeah I'd like to meet ya all...wheither to fellowship or debate with!
But Most of yu'ns I'll meet in Heaven and what a day that will be! What a meeting! I won't be as annoying up there....cause Heaven is perfect!
