If it were to be a Bush Dynasty, I would prefer it to be Jeb in 08.

She'd be better than Hillary, but, well, who wouldn't be?

Laura doesn't want it. It will be George Allen (Senator-VA) in '08.

No to any Bush or Clinton in 2008. My preference in this order:

    Secretary of State Rice
    Governor Pawlenty(Minnesota)
    Senator Brownback(Kansas)
    Congressman Tancredo(Colorado)

I think Tancredo would be at the top of my list, although I would admit that I don't know the other two males that well.

I would have ranked Tancredo higher but there is very little chance of a Congressman making the jump to president. I also would have ranked Brownback higher but governors have a better chance than senators for the last forty years of presidential elections. Of course, if Hillary Clinton is the Democrat nominee then a GOP senator would have as good of a chance as a governor since a senator would be the next president in spite of a senator not winning the presidency since 1960.

I would not want another Bush either.

How about this for an interesting 2008 election:

Democrats - Sen. Joseph Biden (DE) for Pres.
Sen. Barak Obama (IL) for VP

Republicans - Sen. John McCain (AZ) for Pres.
Sen. Elizabeth Dole (NC) for VP

Upon further reflection, Joseph, I agree with you that Tancredo should be at the top of the list. This illegal alien problem has to be solved and since I doubt it will be after the 2006 election I think it will be necessary to press this issue in the GOP debates for the 2008 presidential election. I doubt that Tancredo can actually win the nomination. But, then again, we just need to remember that ant - there goes another rubber tree plant! :D

Democrats are more likely to be Clinton and Obama.

    Mine too, Joseph.

I'm curious as to whether our CP friends would get on board with us on that.

    Tancredo in '08! [IMG]
