Mark Cuban slams Trump, endorses Harris

Of course. Trump's plan to impose tariffs on companies that leave the US is troubling for a lot of businesses. A move to Mexico would mean more profit.

I actually think tariffs for imports that compete with the US companies producing in the US is a good idea. But 200% is kinda silly.

 

Yes. They were too high and sparked other countries to place higher tariffs on the US.

That is why I say Trump is being silly (read "stupid").

I do support allowing tariffs that help make US companies competitive.

When I was in the HVAC industry we tried to buy American. But the price of US capacitors were too high (we couldn't compete). And they were of the same quality.

The Chinese gas pipe fittings was cheap, but inferior to the point of being dangerous. Still, it became hard to find US made fittings.

Harris is actually good for many corporations, particularly if they produce outside of the US. Trump is good for smaller businesses and large businesses that produce in the US.

Each, however, are beholden to their financial supporters.

I don't like either. As a Christian I obviously couldn't support Harris. But the GOP isn't much better in terms of morality. Too many politicians .

Pay attention to the numbers this election. I'm not sure how many Christians support Trump, but I'd guess maybe half of his supporters (?). If Harris gets about half the total votes then we have about a 25% Christian population. Plus those of us who don't vote because of our faith and are Christians....maybe a couple more percent points (?).
