Moon turned to blood? Or is it rust??

    BTW, this phenomenon of a total eclipse will not be seen again in the world for almost three years (2 yr; 10 Mos.), and a notable lineup with other stars and planets, like the triangle seen this PM, will not be matched for another millenium, according to the story here. :thumbs:

    I took pictures every 15 minutes after it started. I doubt they'll be very good with my little camera, but it was interesting to see.

    If not for the house lights in the neighborhood, it would have been pitch black outside.

    At one point, it did look reddish.

    After being clear all week clouds moved in last night.

    I love a linar eclipse - got up to check at 3.30 but total cloud cover :(

    I kept an eye on the moon last night. I think it was around 10pm (EST) that the moon was totally darkened/red.

    It was so very cool. :thumbs:

    The kids and I stayed up to watch, but the clouds were too dark and heavy for us to see anything.
