Currently, I am the only full time staff member. But we have part time secretarial. We are speaking with a man about coming on staff as student pastor/associate pastor.

Thanks! God laid it on the heart of a young woman at our church to minister to the deaf about 20 years ago and our pastor helped her do it. We have our first service interpreted and then during the second service, the deaf actually have their own church service! One of our pastors will preach there (usually the Recovery Ministries Pastor) and we usually run about 30 on a Sunday, I think. We also run the Northeast Deaf Conference each year, have another weekend just for deaf and then lots of activities and such throughout the year. We have 2 staff for the deaf and a young man who's 17 who just came on as an intern for the summer who has a heart for the deaf youth.

Thank you for all YOU do for the deaf in Mexico. It's a hard ground all around the world and the deaf are such a different culture than the hearing around them. But these people need the Lord and you and many others are reaching hundreds and thousands for Him. :)

    Assumption

I assume you are referring to paid staff.

Also, I forgot to add secretarial, so add one more to that position.

We have one full-time pastor - me.
We have one part time secretary.
    We have a part-time pianist.
    We have a part-time custodian.

Since we're trying to pay for a building program (and God is blessing us so that we can), I also lead the worship and the youth. We have a volunteer who does the choir (and I'm filling in for her for the summer). As soon as we're out from under our building program, I'm hoping we can bring on some more full-time staff. We'll see.

We have a secretary, an organist, a treasurer, 2 preachers/elders (haven't got a "full-time" pastor yet), and three leaders of "Foxtails", our after-school club for children. But none of these are paid, so I don't know if they count as "staff".

If you are talking paid staff we have a Pastor and a Custodian.
If you include volunteers we have.

    Pastor

    Deacons - assisting the pastor

Me - I don't really know where I fit, I am a Deacon, but I am also a Licensed Minister. My assistance to the Pastor is more in the Preaching and Teaching area where the other Deacons assist more with things like visitation.

    Music Director

    Sunday School Superintendent
    Sunday School Secretary
    Asst. Sunday School Secretary

    Childrens Church Leader (ages 3 - 8)

Youth Leader - ages 8- 18 (another Job I have)
    Asst. Youth Leader - ages 8 - 12
    Asst. Youth Leader - ages 13 - 18

    Church Secretary

Treasurer and Asst. Treasurer - gotta pay the bills.

    Bill
