My mother could use some prayers ....

I'm just passing through tonight to bring my mother to you in prayer.

The lung disorder is causing her to lose too much weight. She saw the national specialist in Tyler, Texas for the second time this past week and we thought maybe the meds were causing her to lose weight, but his nurse practitioner said it's the disease.

She's always been a very tall woman and back in May weighed about 165. She carries it well and is very, very attractive. She now weighs 133. She eats what she can, but she doesn't want to eat.

We've been getting her some ensure, but she is sick of it.

She doesn't like the weight loss and it makes her upset. The doctor said to expect to lose more.

She is on breathing treatment every day and takes meds. She is now going to be on antibiotics 3 days a week for a YEAR. Maybe even 18 months.

Please pray for her body. Her name is Bonnie.

Having cut down on my own activities, I am feeling less stressed and a little more relaxed, but I am still tired. I thank you in advance for any prayers for her. You don't have to make them public or even respond.

And if anyone has experience in keeping an elderly persons weight loss from getting out of hand, I would appreciate the information.
