    Hello Ian,

My uncle makes the best Chess Pie in the world (IMHO) :D . I'll see what I can do for ya. By the way, did I mention that I am on the list for Member of the Year? ;)

I make a great Pecan Pie and a wonderful Blueberry bundt cake but have never heard of Chess Pie! Is it black and white squared? I'm not much on chocolate!

Oh, Diane, it is the most glorious thing!

You can get chocolate chess pie, but my favorite is the regular kind.

Sounds Good SheEagle! And sounds EASY! I tried to find pictures and all the pages talked about it not being a pretty pie but delicious! LOL. Thanks for the recipe.

BTW... my dentist wants me to vote for your fudge. He's got a kid heading to college in a few years! LOL

C.J., Jim's never heard of it either. Sounds sort of like a custard pie tho!

Just in case anyone is planning on casing a vote for me, I recently changed by login name from "BibleboyII" to "Bible-boy."

I just changed mine, too. "SheEagle" seemed so ah, radical.

I was thinking of changing my real name to Bambi but hubby says I'm 30 years too late.

Don't you lose all your votes when you change your name?

Is there a vote transferral system installed?

I could use about 30 votes.

    Cheers,

    Jim

Ok, Diane where is that suthren accent thread with you and Blackbird? I never laughed so hard.

My mom says "warsh" and strangely chimley  . What's a chimley?

  17. dianetavegia Guest

Actually, it's chimbley which is a chimney for yaur far smoke to go up.

    LOL
Sue called me one day and said "You've got a southern accent!"

Diane, she says chim-lee and warsh. She was born is Kansas.

My dad was born in Montana we say chiminee. Instead of cot-ten we say cotten, butten. My husband teases me. Our kids say cot-ten, but-ton. They emphasize the t's

I don't think we Northwesterners have an accent.

  19. dianetavegia Guest

Well Elnora, I know where y'all got all those T's! You took them from the people in the Northeast who say cau- en, ke -en, maw- en for cotten, kitten and moutain! I knew those T's went somewhere! LOL

Somebody's emphasizing the "T"? That got my attention!

    Calli Tea
    Fortune Delight Tea
    Assimilaid Tea

Man, my wife would be PROUD of you all for drinking that healthy stuff!

Somebody needs to remind me to vote on Dec 30th. Looks like Florida all over, where every vote will count. It could make-or-break some candidate's whole career.

(I am enjoying all the banter on this thread! Welcome respite to some of the other fora on the BB)
