My uncle makes the best Chess Pie in the world (IMHO) :D . I'll see what I can do for ya. By the way, did I mention that I am on the list for Member of the Year? ;)

 

I make a great Pecan Pie and a wonderful Blueberry bundt cake but have never heard of Chess Pie! Is it black and white squared? I'm not much on chocolate!

You can get chocolate chess pie, but my favorite is the regular kind.

My dad was born in Montana we say chiminee. Instead of cot-ten we say cotten, butten. My husband teases me. Our kids say cot-ten, but-ton. They emphasize the t's :eek:

I don't think we Northwesterners have an accent.

 

Well Elnora, I know where y'all got all those T's! You took them from the people in the Northeast who say cau- en, ke -en, maw- en for cotten, kitten and moutain! I knew those T's went somewhere! LOL
