"The Coffee Shop" #9

Good Morning All!

I have been up for quite awhile; but since I haven't posted since yesterday morning...it took me two hours to catch up on all the posts!

It looks like it is going to be a beautiful day. The sun is shining and the birds are singing.

"This is the day that the Lord hath made. Let us rejoice and be glad in it."

Hubby is taking me to Bonanza Steak House for dinner after church; but I'm gonna be strong and just stick with the meat and salad (no carbs). :D

Sherrie: Your son wants to work at a fast food place just to get some 'real' food?


I have given up bread, potatoes, and pasta until I lose some weight...but not eat anything WHITE? Mercy! I just don't see that happening! Do you eat WHITE salad dressing? :confused:

Well, I'm off to the shower, might pop in again right before we leave for church. I just KNOW the Lord has something GOOD for me today!!!

Taterkid, you don't have to have a certain number of posts to add pictures. Go to the picture you want, right click, go to properties, copy down the URL.

When you are ready to post a picture, click on 'image', then just type in the URL.

Hello Jon...followinghim..blackbird..Sue...and all those I forgot.

Small reminder Sue...pictures have to be smaller than the logo or about the same size. Barnabas has already been in the coffee shop and did an inspection. Was very kind and did not shut us down. Do not want to loose our license. Can you shorten it a tad. Thank you.

Sherrie, Wow! supper was great! I think cleaning my finger nails helped out tremendously. I went to church with her and her family. I think they have adopted me. I came home for lunch, but are going out to eat with them after church tonight.

Is Jon from Scotland, like Duncan McCloud, from the clan McCloud, Scotland?

 

How does one just disappear? I think this site is misunderstood. It is a message board and not a chat site. One does not speak and sit there waiting for a response, as in a chat site. A response can be any length of time coming. We type and run to something else.

Well Jim...I was not in Chat...I was answering a post here, and then it disappeared. Unless of course...it wasn't here...it was in another forum...and I ended up here.

So anyways I edited it out, and I put the other in!

Jon...It is quit possible for someone to have PC trouble too! You are right.

But people can also talk on messageboards, and then those who missed out, can come in later, catch up, and talk, and nothing is missed.

You can do a lot of things on a messageboard. Where as in Chat....if you are not there at the time...you miss out.

You can read a message someone leaves you a week ago, today, and feel as tho they said it today, on a messageboard.

Yes....you are probably right. So I am going to actually cook today. Bakes fish and Salad. Doesn't that sound good. Kenny get back here...I will cook you something too son! he-he-he!

It is a challenge when I am forced to eat white dressing or salad dressing, because I really cannot swallow it. I try...I really do. I cannot swallow pasta noodles at all. it just is a texture thing I guess. And macaroni and cheese is a meal from the devil. Good Golly Wally...thats the nastiest thing I have ever tried to taste.

I also will not eat corn, lima beans, anything white. Not even wheat flour. But I do like rye bread. But will stay away from it.

I love fish, chicken, sometimes pork, salad things, and sometime I will crave certain fruits. I will not use sugar,I do like coffee, tea, and water. Now i have discovered Pepsi One. No Sugar. But it does have aspertine. Which is a major no-no. Splenda is good. It is a natural sugar substitute made from sugar.

This just did not happen. Its been a while in the making. I think I am some kind of vegetarian, only I will eat fish and chicken. And I am thinking in time that is going to fade too. I will be full fledge Vegetarian. My problem it is a texture thing.

Followinghim...actually my stomach feels a lot better today. No soreness, no burn, maybe the Pepsi One helped? But I still took 2 of those pills. And I am washing sheets today. Thats all tho. I made Amanda's room a quest room. I have a bed and a dresser. I need some end tables, lamps, and a some different curtains to match the bedspread. Kind of miss match for now, but it will look good.

I'm usually cool handed. But, this morning I had sweaty palms. I don't know why. She is very sweet and has a great smile. Love that red hair.
