    I just recieved my leather bound copy of the Valley of Vision today!!

    What a great book. I recommend it to everyone. Its a collection of Purtian prayers edited by Aurthur Bennett, who said in the preface:

    "They (the prayers and meditation) testify to the richness and colour of Evangelical thought and language that animated vitgal piety in an improtant stream of English religious life."

    You will love it! I told my dad recently that it makes the "Daily Bread" devotionals seem like the daily crumbs in terms of spiritual depth. (I am not nocking Daily Bread by any means- its just that for me personally a bit shallow).

    About $17.00 I beleive. I think Amazon.com has it a bit cheaper.

    Its also sold in a paperback, but I wanted the black leather edition to go with my Bible.

    I used to think that if I had only my Bible and one book it would be Pilgrims Progress, now I would say "Valley of Vision"
