I made it for my mother-in-law a few weeks back. We've had it several times since then as it is now one of her favorites, too.

Sketti, I'm trying a new meatball recipe that sounds simple but good. Of course, I'll adapt it before even trying it alone. :tongue3:

Pepper Jack Chicken over Noodles, Tossed Salad, Strawberry Shortcake for dessert.

Hot dogs with chili, fried squash, and corn on the cob. We had some veggies that needed to be used up. :D
I've found a few more recipes that sound good. Once I try them out I will post them up. I still have the three I used a week or so ago and will post them then. ;) -
swiss steak, buttered egg noodles and the rest of the corn on the cob, hopefully.

Tonight was what we call "Block Island Steak" (it's actually a recipe from Once a Month Cooking cookbook but the first time we had it was on Block Island so ...), homemade potato and blue cheese salad and petite peas. YUMMO!!!

Pastor Bob will be grilling his 'famous' barbecued chicken and I am making potato salad, baked beans, corn on the cob, and a cake that says, "I love my family". :)
