braised beef short ribs with onions and mushrooms, over buttered rice, and haven't decided on the vegetable yet, maybe broccoli would be good.

I'm thinking, since it's going to be 90 degrees today, I'll make our salad dinner:

    Salad greens
    grilled chicken (made last night)
    blue cheese
pears (if any of my own are ripe, I'll use them)
    craisins
    glazed walnuts

I'll hit the local bakery for some nice bread and we'll be all set.

DH is going sailing with our 8 year old so it's just me and the girls. I'm going to make an easy dinner that we all love - but my hubby isn't fond of: spaghetti with meat sauce. I also got a SLEW of tomatoes from the barn so I guess I'll cut up tomatoes and put some balsamic vinegar on them - so we'll have tomato salad. YUM!

Stuff in the fridge ALWAYS tastes better the next few days. :) I love to make a plate of totally unrelated things and have them together. It's like the best of a potluck! LOL

I have returned from 3 weeks in the Great Southern land....Brisneyland and it ws hot, hot, hot.

Now I am back in the cooler clime of EnZed looking at the pansies and flowering cherry trees.....

Dinner will be Tacos a la Mel....the mince will be a la neapolitana, with tomato, avocado etc.
Dessert will be fresh rockmelon or cantaloupe with a jus of orange....

    God bless all

Wine-braised Italian Sausages, salad, garlic bread, and then something for dessert which I'm not quite sure of what it will be. We're having my dad and my aunt and uncle over for dinner.
