Chris & Gina have attended our church 2 or 3 times over the past couple of years.
The church also paid Chris to mow the church lawn - wasant much - but it was little to help him out.
He lived only 2 houses from the church.

Well, we recently sold our church bldg -(that was a mess in itself)
So by vote of the church, we gave Chris a Christmas bonus.

When I droped it off, Chris told us that his sister in law was in the hospital .in critical condition,
Today, Chris called me to tell me his sister-in-law passed this AM.

He has asked me to do the funeral. I only met the sister once (and she had dementia).
In addition, I am not sure of their spiritual condition. The time of the funeral has not yet been determined

In addition, the wife of a pastor in our association; passed away yesterday.

    We covet your prayers.

May God richly bless the sharing of His word to a grieving family.

Perhaps it is wise to focus less on the life of the sister and more upon the reconciling work of Christ in his death, burial, and resurrection.
