You'll have to excuse my Cuz, she's camera-shy.

As she said in a recent post:

Hmmm, all this talk about cooking has forced me to order pizza! :D It should arrive in about 30 minutes.

I'm to tired to cook, I've been shopping all day! I took T out to the motorcycle place and let him get a new helmet and then he to me to Hancock and let me buy fabric. Then we had to quit having fun and go to Wally World and buy groceries (for what I do not know, cause I don't cook. ).

We also got haircuts and Tanya may not recognize me in church tomorrow. I got myself a "summer cut".

Gotta go put away the cold stuff! I'll be back in a bit.

    Good afternoon all,

I guess the BB has been down all day. This is the first time I've been able to get in and I started trying at 5:00a.m.

It is a beautiful sunshiny day and is 80º right now. It's the kind of day that makes me want to jump in the car, roll the windows down and go for a ride. However, wil gasoline almost to the $3.00 a gallon mark, I think I'll just go outside and sit on the lawn swing!

    Have a blessed day!

    Blessed Sunday Everyone!

Today was high attendence Sunday and the kickoff for our revival service this week. Unfortunately I didn't hear our numbers before I left. I do know that our class met and even exceeded(by one) our goal. :) And I made it to church with two of my kids. Chris wasn't safe to attend and is glad he is going to see the stomach doc this week. He's a little better though and is talking again and trying to eat (and bothering his little sister, that's always a good sign).

I'll be headed back to church by 5. We have a choir practice scheduled before church with the visiting music minister.

Right now I'm filling up my stomach. T is cooking tonight but is off with Cass seeing a movie so I probably won't get to eat until after church.

I'm considering sewing some, but am feeling awfully lazy.........

    Good night all,
It has been a very good weekend! It is still 72 degrees outside! Could summer be on the way? Dad's doctor was very impressed because his leg and foot are healing! He has had a very rocky few days but was doing better when I left at 7:00 tonight. I had better go, I need to get laundry done and get to bed.

Hmmm, everyone is sleeping in this morning except me? Oh my, I may have to cook. Sigh......

Okay fine, there are bacon, eggs and bisquits on the counter along with an assortment of bagels and muffins. Coffee's on and so is water for tea. Juice can be found in the fridge and no I didn't squeeze it myself!

I am currently on hold with one of the two docs offices I need appointments with today. Chris needs his hand rexrayed (is that a word?) and Cass needs a shot for her migraine. I've been on hold for about 5 minutes now.

To keep from double posting, I'm just adding to this one.

One appointment made, one will call back. Monday can be a bad day to get appointments. I really need something done about Chris' hand today so I can tell if it is the reason he still has a migraine. If it is not I want to get him into the neuro on Wednesday after we see the stomach doc. If I have to wait until tomorrow to get it xrayed then I might not be able to get an appointment if he still needs it. He needs to go back to school sometime!

I gotta call here in a minute and try to wake up my MIL. No way I can take kids to two different places at the same time.

    Good morning all,

No, Cindi, I didn't sleep in. I was up at 5:00 but had a lot of things to take care of before I took Brent to school and went to work on the corner.

Thanks for covering breakfast for me! And where is Rob??? I may have to fire him if he keeps acting as a 'no show'. We depend on him.

I still have a lot of things to do, so I won't be on much today. I am going to attempt to put some paneling up. All of this mess and clutter and dust is getting to me and driving me bonkers!!!

    Pray for me... :BangHead:

Where are Rob, Jim, Barnabas, Gwen, Gayla, Tanya and whoever it is that I know I'm forgetting?

It seems to be just you and me today, Sue. Tanya hasn't even called me on the phone. Jeremy must be letting her sleep in. Probably a good idea. :D

I probably won't be in much today either. I'll be at one doc or the other..... Why do sick kids always seem to happen at once? :( Yesterday was a much better day!

    Good morning all,
MK: I didn't sleep in I just haven't made it in until now. Breakfast sounds wonderful, I hope there is some left.
Sue: Sounds like you have a busy day.
My sis talked to mom and depending upon what the tests show that where run Friday dad may get to come home late this afternoon. It will probably be tommorrow before they know anything for sure though. The doctors don't get in any hurry! I had better go, sis is mowing the yard and I need to check on here.

Nope I didn't get to sleep in. It would have been wonderful but, Todd and Kacy had to be at the WCHD by 7:30am today. :BangHead: Jeremy and Anna went with us. We were there from 7:15 until just after 10am. Needless to say we are glad to be home!

Now we get to wait for the dr to call with my blood work results.

Hope everyone has a wonderful day!

    Good Afternoon Everybody,

It's sunny and 66 here, headed for thunderstorms and cooler weather tonight and tomorrow.

Thanks for covering breakfast Cuz. What'd you do cook it using an alias?

I've been having some really bad days yesterday and today. I spent most of yesterday, and part of today in bed. Just don't want to do anything, or be around anybody.

Just popped in to see what was going on. I'm headed back to bed. Don't know if I'll be here tomorrow or not.

Present and accounted for. I am, however, for the most part in read only mode.

I did check the fruit trees I planted last summer, and 4 of 6 are showing new growth. That is not bad considering they are not easy to grow in this neck of the woods.

I have discovered that it is not good getting up before breakfast and working between meals, so I am cutting back a little.

    Cheers,

    Jim

LOL! That's quite a discovery Jim!

Rob, you probably need the rest after all the stress while your wife was sick. You've had a lot on your plate.

Ended up taking both kids down to the regular doc. Chris' xrays still don't show a break (this is good news even if he won't use his purple/blue swollen hand, right?) and Cass got a shot for her migraine. They're both going to sleep and I'm going to order the monthly meds and sew for a while. It's almost time to pick up Jenna.

No, merely closed all the blinds and locked the door. Don't you know that is the real reason no one could post this morning? :D

Nobody...I mean Nobody better kid Cindi about her cooking anymore. This chick has the power to take down an entire Board. Can you imagine what she could do if she was angry?

    Good evening all,
I am just dropping in for a minute. I have got a truck load of laundry to do. I talked to mom earlier and dad is going to be coming home in the morning without any antibiotics. All the docs where impressed with how well his leg and foot where healing. It is 79 and thunderstorms here. Oh well, y'all take care.

    Hi everyone!

islandgirl, so glad to hear your dad's foot and leg are healing! PTL!!

We're still hangin' in down herein dry, smoky South Georgia.

Got my test results this afternoon. The Marker went up 2.5 points to 65.2, from 62.7. That is not what I wanted to hear, but the Dr did say it would plateau, and this looks like it. Hopefully it will continue on a slow decline.
I've been trying to call Mama since 4:30, but keep getting a busy signal. Will somebody go check on that, please. :wavey:

She probably did what I do all the time: knocked the land line off the hook and didn't notice. My land line doesn't take much knocking either to be off the hook, it can be barely off and if I don't hear it, I might not realize for hours that that's the reason I'm not getting any phone calls.

I'm sleepy and headed off to bed. See ya'll in the morning.

I take it I was last to bed and first up this morning. :D This is NOT a double post. I can't help it that good Coffee House personel are hard to find!

Okay, what's for breakfast? Oh I know! There are several varieties of pancakes keeping warm in the oven, including blueberry, pecan and pumpkin spice. Along side of those are some nice link sausages and fresh fruit. Syrup is on the counter. Coffee is hot, but you'd better hurry cause since I'm up so early I'm going to be drinking it as fast as it can make.

Since T has to go to work so early this morning I'm going to hurry through the regular chores and get to the sewing machine. My day will be interupted hopefully by getting to take Cass and Chris to school for a bit (and then picking them up cause they aren't well yet).

Tanya was a bad example yesterday and bought fabric and told me about it, so I thought I had to go get me some (yes I know I bought fabric this weekend). I ended up buying more than she had and know all of it is calling my name saying "Cindi, sew me first!". Sad isn't it? :)

This afternoon will be smocking at the church. I plan on starting matching dresses for Jenna and Amy. I've been looking forward to these. The pattern is really pretty.

See ya as the day passes.

    Good Morning all,
MK-I have been up for a couple of hours as usual but have been busy and just now decided to come check out what was happening.
I am so glad that you cooked breakfast-if it had been up to me we would have had cold cereal! It is going to be a busy day so I had better go.

    Good Morning Everybody,

It is 50 degrees and partly cloudy with a high of 71 and thunderstorms due later today and tonight.

Okay MK I get the hint. If you're going to be the cook can I be the busboy? BTW the term "busboy" comes from somebody who clears tables, cleans, and generally does cleanup...It has nothing to do with the size of the person doing the cleanup. So there.

WOW!! MK drops by and three kinds of pancakes, with sausages, and fruit magically appear. Funny, I was able to get right on BB this morning too. Amazing what a pot of hot coffee can accomplish isn't it?

Not much going on here today. The G-kids are in school, and the weather is supposed to be nice...until it storms that is.
