Remember people - this is not a 'matchmaker' site.

I remember Barnabas telling someone that one time on an open forum. [IMG]

The guys will stop coming to the Coffee House with all this 'lady' talk. Maybe it could be discussed in the Women's Open Forum? :D

Hey, I'm all about children . . . I want as many as God will give me. [IMG]

    And I'm really picky too . . . ;)

I love kids too and would have gladly had more but hubby felt our home was full and he's the leader. [IMG] Now I want LOTS of grandchildren and our oldest son and his wife only want one. They lost one at 7 weeks and then had Jackson (not the Jack I keep tho). Erin had Nick the winter after high school and now has 2 daughters. She feels that they've had enough. Their relationship is not great. Jon's ready to marry at 28. Nick's only 10 so I've got a long wait there!

Well, you should bring the crew up to Greenville--for Bible Conference or something. :D

He may not like me, though.

We never go anywhere, Margo. We got invited to go to a concert (free tickets) this Saturday but it's Nick's AWANA Games and we don't use baby sitters for Nick. Jon has off but he would HATE the AWANA Games. Too much sitting around and waiting for YOUR team to play. Jim's disappointed but Nick committed to go and has gone to every practice.

We don't know you well enough yet to say bad things about you. He'll never know.

I have no car. So anyone from Georgia who wants to meet me is gonna have to make his way up here.

Either way, it's much less stressful chattin' with a guy's parents then it is chattin with a guy, LOL.

Gib, yeah, nothin bad to say about me yet . . . If you want to chat with my folks on IM feel free.

I'm like that, Margo. I tell people to call my preacher if they have any questions about me.

We lived for 4 years in Cleveland, Ga. My mother has her vacation cabin there. That's really close to you. We don't get over to her cabin but about once a season. With Jim working 6 days a week and our church activities, there's no free time!

I'm looking forward to May, June, July and part of Aug. when I have no children's activities on Wednesday night or Sunday afternoon. We have zero family time on the weekends!

Yeah. My parents' struggle to find family time as well . . . Ironic, isn't it? It's your family that keeps you from your family!

I've got 5 siblings, only 2 at home now. But with church, choir practice, home school group, my mom's writing, etc. they are kept really busy.

People can talk to anyone I know for a reference. I usually use my pastor, or a former pastor, or some good friends. Obviously parents are a bit biased.

Hodel: Well, somebody has to arrange the matches,
Young people can’t decide these things themselves.

Chava: She might bring someone wonderful----

    Hodel: Someone interesting----

    Chava: And well off----

    Hodel: And important---

    Matchmaker, Matchmaker,
    Make me a match,
    Find me a find,
    catch me a catch
    Matchmaker, Matchmaker
    Look through your book,
And make me a perfect match

    Chava:
    Matchmaker, Matchmaker,
    I’ll bring the veil,
    You bring the groom,
    Slender and pale.
Bring me a ring for I’m longing to be,
The envy of all I see.

    Hodel:
    For Papa,
    Make him a scholar.

    Chava:
    For mama,
Make him rich as a king.

    Chava and Hodel:
    For me, well,
    I wouldn’t holler
If he were as handsome as anything.

    Matchmaker, Matchmaker,
    Make me a match,
    Find me a find,
    Catch me a catch,
Night after night in the dark I’m alone
    So find me match,
    Of my own.

Send me the link and I'll figure out what you're doing wrong. I tried putting in your properties but it won't come up on my computer.

Well, I've got it on a blog site, could that be why? I don't really have my own personal web site-just a blog page.

Why can't one simply upload a photo from your computer? Issues?

Easy way to do it.... Go to www.villagephotos.com and register for free. Upload the photo from your computer and then you can link to it here. If it's too big, use the thumbnail photo and link to the full sized.

Padre, I was singing that same song while reading the Matchmaking section!

I've got Fiddler on the Roof on DVD, might have to get it out tomorrow.
I like it all but the dream scene.
