To HankD: Then, it's settled. Mots of our arguemnts have petered out, and you obviously can't prove to an atheist that God exists.

To Optional: I can'r change the source, I juts mentioned it.

No you didn't mention a "source" at all.
Here is what you said in your original post:
Your "source" should be a philosophy forum. Or you're just another troll.

Nonob renamed himself "cognito" for the cut and paste he did here. If I have time later, I'll see what else I can find over there about our Baptist compatriot. Which church did you say you attended, nonob?

    From nonob:

    >>you obviously can't prove to an atheist that God exists.>>

    Please define "prove".

HankD: As Don proved earlier, look in the dictionary.

Clint: I renamed "nonob" because by [Emphasis]COINCIDENCE[/Emphasis] we have the same name, and I though you would leap on me, as are doing, because our names are the same. And I can't give out my church, because being 13 my mother will not let me give out personal information. I'm sorry if I'm not allowed to be interested in this obviously atheist viewpoint of the other "nonob." Sorry I wasted your brian neurons and computer electrons, I'll shut up now... :( ~S~

    Nonob, you said…

    >>you obviously can't prove to an atheist that God exists.>>

    then I responded…

    >>Please define "prove".>>

    Then you responded…

    >>HankD: As Don proved earlier, look in the dictionary.>>

That's my point nonob, according to the dictionary "prove" means "to show to be true or valid by evidence or argument". There are several standard theological "proofs" concerning the existence of God. But you used the word "atheist" in your statement >>you obviously can't prove to an atheist that God exists.>>.

Presumably, an atheist has already rejected the standard theological proofs of the existence of God (if that is what you meant). So your statement is only true because the atheist comes to me with prior prejudice other wise you would have said "you obviously can't prove to a person that God exists".

Also, one cannot "prove" the electron theory (or it wouldn't be a "theory") but it doesn't stop one from turning on a TV.
