Ken you are not answering the question. Why do you think it belongs to the Palestinians?

Do you know the history of the land?

Yep. Did you read the article I linked?

I have answered your question. If you don't like the answer, then that's just tough. That's your problem, not mine. [IMG]

To make it easier for you without typing out your conclusion, maybe you could cut and paste from your link where it says the land belongs to the Palestinians. Since that is where you got your facts.

I truly am tyring to understand where you are coming from.

"In 1949, the war between Israel and the Arab states ended with the signing of armistice agreements. The country once known as Palestine was now divided into three parts, each under separate political control. The State of Israel encompassed over 77 percent of the territory. Jordan occupied East Jerusalem and the hill country of central Palestine (the West Bank). Egypt took control of the coastal plain around the city of Gaza (the Gaza Strip)."

As I said, I have not heard that Egypt wants it back.

But Ken we are talking about the Palestinians who you claim the land belongs to. We are not discussing the Egyptians.

    Egypt controlled Gaza.

When attacked, Israel took Gaza from Egypt.

Israel is pulling out of Gaza and no longer wants to control it.

The Palestinians are left in Gaza.

Egypt has not indicated that it wants Gaza back.

The Palestinians will now control Gaza after all of the Israelis are gone.

The land belongs to whomever controls it.

    Thank you Ken!

Ken are you saying that the Gaza only belongs to the Palestinians because Israel is giving it to them currently?

    Or

Are you saying it belonged to them previously and it’s their land?

    I hope I’m clear?

It is theirs because Israel is leaving it to them currently.

    Have a nice evening. [IMG]

Praise the Lord Ken! I am delighted in my spirit by your answer. I thought you meant something entirely different. Although we disagree on the Gaza pullout I'm glad there isn't more. Thank you for taking the time to make it clearer. Goodnight!

Who would have thought such a day would come when we would see Jewish soldiers storming a Synagogue dragging out Jews. Jews against Jews. [IMG]
