    Because of the eclectic nature of all New Testament Greek textual readings being used in current translations being used, it is a mix regarding a reference and teaching, case by case. Plus the variants in how same text is translated.

    Salty you don't need electricity... You can use a kerosene lamp or candles and write with quill feathered pen with an inkwell... Your previous Army, so go to bed and get up with the chickens... That way you will be a true old theologian... Brother Glen;)

    If I were the devil, and some people think I am, I'd get good Christian people to fight over translations of the Bible and not talk to their neighbors about Jesus.

    I have been simply writing a ref on an index card, 1 John 5:9-13. Then explainning that that passage God promises one can know one can have eternal life.
