Welcome to BB. That is a very funny signature. :laugh: Your post has a lot of good points. Our two party political system is so corrupt and rotten to the core, it could not possibly speak for God or His message. Only His church can do that. Our churches are way too timid. Jesus said that His church would not be able to be withstood by the gates of hell. That means we take the fight to a secular world, not wait for it to attack us. God has given us the victory already in Jesus Christ.

You know, one of the worst things we do is act timidly about the Gospel message because we might "offend" someone. Or we dont respect "diversity." These are just code words for not taking the responsibility we have been given. But then again, a vast majority in this country does not take responsiblity for themselves, there is always a reason or someone else to blame.

It is time to use, clear plain (English) languague to get the Gospel out. It's like the guy at work who would not take a bath day after day and just about gassed us out. Instead of the boss calling him in saying you stink, take a bath or hit the road, it was more like, we realize you are hygenically challanged, and hope you will do better.
